When our founder, Zerah, started doing hair in 2013 she quickly realized how traditional methods of haircoloring were hurting herself and others. As she got into a professional salon she experienced rashes and eventually found out she was having thyroid and immune issues. Her aunt Rene then introduced her to a better way! The holistic, low-tox world of beauty.
Since then, shes been using and sharing the dream of having an in salon and at home experience created without hormone disruptors, chemical induced rashes, and bad smells. We strive to use the most natural, organic products available to use today. Creating color without Ammonia, PPD, or Rescorcinol. Finding products for you that aren't only safe but super affective.

Zerah Samuel, Owner & Hair Stylist
Zerah, born and raised Grand Junction native, started her cosmetology journey in 2013. She started doing hair in 8th grade, graduated from Intellitec Cosmetology in 2014 and has been a professional stylist since 2015.
Since then, she has soared into the Holistic Hair world and specializes in healthy blonde and extensions. She enjoys creating the look that you have always dreamed of while also keeping integrity and health in the hair. She has a passion to bring you the lowest toxin, highest quality products and services available. She can't wait to see you!
Theresea Martinez, Hair Stylist
Theresa was born and raised here in Grand Junction, Co. She left for cosmetology school and came right back because she loved it so much. She loves to do color and haircuts on both men and women, creating the look that you desire most. Theresa has been in the business for nearly 35 years and continues her passion behind the chair here in downtown Grand Junction. She specializes in Aveda and Goldwell Color lines and has immense knowledge in different types of hair. Come see her to experience top notch skills and get the exact look you've been craving.
Jacquie Gunderson, Hair Stylist
Jacquie loves being a cosmetologist. She has a wonderful background as a stylist of 57 years. She started her career when she was just 16 years old and has an inkling for fashion, design, and new technique. She has honed her skills behind the chair, while raising her four sons, being a wonderful mother and grandmother and much much more. Jacquie has worked with numerous amazing stylists from around the valley. She continues her passion and love for hair design at Flora Holistic Salon. She specializes in gray coverage, reds, short cuts, and beautiful perms and has numerous skills to help you get the look you achieve. She is your go to for consistent, beautiful hair. Adasha Nelson, Hair Stylist & Headspa Specialist
Adasha has a unique background that enhances her approach as a stylist. She moved to Colorado from her homeland in Kazakhstan where she got her formal education and decided to go into cosmetology as a second career. After graduating with honors, going through her Masters Series at the Aveda Academy, and being given an opportunity to assist at New York Fashion Week with some of the greatest stylists in the world, Adasha knew she had found her niche. She specialized in color, balayage, hair painting, precision and textured haircutting and extensions. What makes her heart sing is to see her guest leave her chair feeling like they can conquer the world and empowered to maintain their new look at home!
Adasha has a heart for those that have worked hard and persevered, and those that area struggling to overcome challenges in life. She has been there, done that! We are so fortunate to have such a quality artist in our midst, and we know that you will feel the same way!
Sara Fletcher, Hair Stylist
Sara is originally from Indiana and started her career in 1990. There she was introduced to Aveda and became an Aveda Educator. Sara was a top stylist in the Northern Indianapolis region for several years.
Since then, she lived and worked in Southern Arizona for more than 17 years at a premier Salon and Day Spa.
Now she finds herself servicing a wide range of guests in Western Colorado. Sara's devotion is to merge a more holistic approach to the beauty industry, while providing beautiful more healthy results.
As Sara moves forward with her 34 years of combined experience as a Master Hair Designer specializing in hair color correction, highlights and hair cutting, she wants every guest to be assured that she continues to have a passion for the industry with expertise obtained through education, time and experience. Sara looks forward to making every clients experience special and memorable.
Kara Rodyakin, Hairstylist & Receptionist
Kara has always been drawn to the beauty industry, where her passion lies in listening to clients and creating a safe space that fosters confidence and beauty. Shes believes that when people look good, they feel good, and this instills a sense of hope and endless possibilities. Her experiences living in Berlin, Moscow, and London have refined her style and approach to beauty. She is committed to the idea that healthy hair is beautiful hair, and she embraces the philosophy that simplicity often equates to elegance. She thrives in providing artful haircuts, rock-and-roll gentlemen cuts, color, balayage, and blonding while ensuring the integrity of the hair remains intact.
Lilly, Massage Therapist
When Lilly first stepped into massage school, she was searching for more than a new skill—she was looking to reground herself and create a life filled with purpose. Over nine months, her studies became more than just coursework; they became a journey of self-discovery and gratitude. She realized how much she loved the work, and her motivation to excel only grew stronger.
Now, as a massage therapist, Lilly pours that passion into every session. Drawing on her knowledge of body therapeutics, she guides her clients toward balance and ease. For her, it’s not just about relieving tension—it’s about helping people find a sense of calm and stability in an often chaotic world.
Sabina Abeyta, Hair Stylist
Sabina has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2012, with a deep passion for helping clients enhance their appearance and boost their confidence. Her expertise encompasses color, balayage, highlights, haircuts, and special occasion styling for both hair and makeup. She holds official certification in hair extensions, which allows her to provide clients with options for length, volume, and transformation. After taking a brief hiatus to embrace motherhood and cherish moments with her daughters, she's excited to return to the industry, bringing renewed creativity and dedication. Sabina looks forward to connecting with wonderful clients in beautiful Grand Junction, CO.
Rachel Wood, Cosmetologist Skin Care Specialist
Rachel is a talented individual with education from the Aveda Institute of Denver and her life experiences. She fell in love with all things skincare and has a passion for helping others. She is all about keeping that fresh, youthful glow and using clean, healthy products that are good for your skin and the planet.

McKaelynn, Hairstylist & Barber
With 6 years experience, a fourth generation stylist, and life long heart of service McKaelynn knew she was destined to provide exceptional service behind the chair! She specializes in custom texture cuts, fluid barbering, is highly skilled in design work, has made a name for herself in custom color/ corrective work that grows out seamlessly. She has been passionate about education from the beginning and continues to teach classes regularly for other like minded professionals. Whether you need your curls loved on, a badass custom color, incredible barber experience, or product recommendations she is sure to roll out the red carpet for you.
